I arrived home one day from school with a trail of rose petals leading up the driveway, through my house, and up the stairs to my bedroom. My eyes and heart filled with excitement wondering what was at the end of the trail. On my white bedding lay red rose petals spelling, "prom?". I lit up as I saw my date standing there with a bouquet of flowers eagerly awaiting my response.
